Recreational Basketball
Our Recreation Basketball programs are available to any child residing in Hampstead ages 6 to 18. In our program, all players receive equal playing time. The focus of this recreational program is to have fun and for everybody to play.
Instruction and ongoing coaching support are provided for volunteer coaches in these programs.
No child is left out because of financial need or hardship. Any family can request a full scholarship to any of our recreational programs and will be provided assistance confidentially and without any application requirements. Just contact us by email, or contact a club member and ask.
Program Information
Registration Dates: Monday, September 16th through Friday, November 22, 2024.
Season Dates: Saturday, December 14, 2024 - February 22, 2025 (MS Boys end 3/15/25 and HS teams end 3/22/25)
Draft Day: Saturday, November 23, 2024 at the Middle School Gym for grades 5-8 Boys (9:00-10:30 am) and HS Boys (6:00-8:00 PM)
Draft Day Participants: (MS boy grades 5-8 and HS boys grades 9-12 only)
All registered players, regardless of draft-day attendance, will be placed on a team. Coaches will contact parents/players with the days and times of practices (MS Boys) after team assignments have taken place. MS Boys practices take place at Hampstead’s Memorial and all MS and HS games are played at the MS gym.
The Civic Club is seeking parents/guardians as volunteer coaches and officials. You may sign up to volunteer at registration.

$50.00 per player
- Biddy Ball: Boys ages 6 years old by 9/30/24 and first grade
- 1st and 2nd grade: Girls
- 2nd grade: Boys
- 3rd-5th grade: Girls
$60.00 per player
- 3rd–4th grade: Boys
- 5th-8th grade: Boys
- 6th grade-High School: Girls
$80.00 per playerHigh School: Boys
The Hampstead Civic Club reserves the right to suspend any participant for poor conduct.
If the cost of the program is a hardship, please notify any Civic Club member.
Proof of Hampstead residency is required
