Veikko Huuskonen Essential Workers Scholarship
In late March, Veikko Huuskonen, a long time board member of the Greater Hampstead Civic Club, was diagnosed with Covid-19. He spent almost a month at Holy Family Hospital on a ventilator. Veikko is home now and on his way to a full recovery. In recognition of Veikko's battle with Covid-19 we awarded 3 Hampstead high school seniors, entering their 1st year of college, with an Essential Workers Scholarship.
